Dr. Brian Golden is Board-Certified in Urology and fellowship-trained in minimally invasive surgery. No-Needle No-Scalpel Vasectomy is one area of Dr. Golden's special expertise.  He has refined the technique in several important ways, providing the highest success rate with the lowest risk of complications.  Read the detailed description of the procedure in the FAQ section.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Washington (Seattle), he attended the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. He then completed two years of general surgery and four years of urology residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. He subsequently completed the high-volume clinical fellowship in laparoscopic and robotic surgery with Urology San Antonio with emphasis on minimally invasive surgery for prostate, kidney and adrenal diseases.

Dr. Golden received consecutive Patients' Choice Awards in 2008, 2009, and 2010. In recognition of "exceptionally high praise" from patients, this award is granted to the top 5% of all physicians. Some patient comments that led to this award can be viewed on CitySearch.com, and Kudzu.com.

Dr. Golden joined RAS Urology Associates of Northern California in 2011.  He provides urology services including vasectomy at the Sacramento Office, which is close to Howe and I-50.  Dr. Golden is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Urological Association (AUA), Western Section of the AUA, the Endourological Society, and the American Association of Clinical Urologists (AACU).
